Beach Party!

"You know Sarah, it's a lovely day at the beach! Maybe we should have a few friends over. After all, it's really cold out there in many places! What do you think?"

"Oh Adam," she said to excitedly, "How wonderful. You are so thoughtful and sweet. YES! I'm sure they would really appreciate it! Let's invite them all now!"

"Ahem," Adam says, clearing his throat. "Is anyone interested in the first annual cyber beach party? Grab you sunscreen and your snacks, (really important because remember the Richland appetite) and your favorite tunes and lets go!"

"We can play on the beach!" he said.

"And walk along the beach after dark!" Sarah added.

"Oh, lets not forget food! I'll start up the grill."

"Wine, we definitely need wine"!

"And let's NOT forget chocolate," Adam murmured against Sarah's neck!

"Adam!" Sarah laughed, with a blush. "Remember we have guests!"

Hahah Hope, that was really a surprise! I was just staring puzzled at the screen for a while before I figured what the post was about ;D It's stormy all over Europe, I hope it's not too harsh on us..

I had a brief respite from the Illinois cold----but sure enjoyed it!
Thanks, Hope!

Good post Hope! I like the pictures along with the post. The beach photos were really good. Oh and I have been reading my other blogs and yours is by far the best that I read. You post more consistently, your writing is good and the storyline is great. Keep up the great work Hope!!!

Hope you're teasing us! Hehe but it's refreshing a little bit of sun. My cure for the winter blues is Pineapple & Coconut Body Mist from the Body Shop, I smell like the beach every day and my boyfriend loves it ;) Don't keep us waiting for too long, I look forward to your entries all week!

Tara,

what other blogs do you read, just looking for something else to read on my slow days here at work, even though I know nothing will compare to THIS ONE!!! Kristie

Now remember everyone, don't get too tipsy. Oh, and Adam and Sarah forgot to tell you to bring swimsuits, so you'll just have to use your best judgement about whether or not to skinnydip or chunkydunk!

Hope, you are such a silly tease. I had to laugh when I finally figured out what the deal was!

Thanks for a warm moment in a very cold day!

Will Adam be skinny dipping?

Anon 3:26,
I read ericasdiary and Bedroom Blog. But they are not as good as this one. Ericas Diary is pretty decent but it is at least a week between updates... Bedroom blog updates about the same but the quality of that one has gone downhill lately...

If anyone knows of any good blogs, let me know!

Thanks!

Hey Hope it's Rachel Im a little slow here for some reason and confused. Is this a post or are we actually starting a cyber beach party at Adam's House? Please fill me in. If it's a party count me in!

I'm gigling hard here Rachel. Jo was teasing me about having a post and we are all suffering with this terrible weather so I decided to go this tongue-in-cheek beach party.

So yeah, lets go to Adam''s house and tell us what music you want to hear and what you want to drink!

don't forget to take your shoes off and walk on the warm sand...feel is slipping between your toes. And I hope you can play frisbee better than Sarah!

Okay, in that case, I want a grilled hamburger please, with cheese. And I'm too young to legally drink but a nice coke would work well.

I want to hear the beach boys please, California Girls to be specific! And while the frisbee sound fun, I think I'd rather play softball!

Tigger, how old are you?

hehehe

You want to know because you are worried that I'm not old enough to read this, huh?

Relax mother hen, I'll be 21 in may.

This is so great Hope! I would love to feel the warm sand between my toes. A burger with cheese sounds great but I'll take a little rum with my coke! I was just saying this morning I would love to head for the beach! Thanks for taking us on a cyber trip. It was a nice break from our freezing cold weather!

Hope,
I'll take a cheeseburger or anything grilled.. and how bout a daquiri or pina coladda- those seem sto fit well with the beach. The beach party is sooooo nice compared to the subzero weather up here. lol.

Hey Hope
Thanks for the mid day pick up!
I will take some of Adam's grilled mango chicken he made the other night ago, and big jumbo strawberry margarita! The beach boys would be great! Or how about some Black Eyed Peas! Anyone up to a game of beach volleyball?
I am closing my eyes and I can see it all perfectly now!

rachel beach volleyball sounds great. =)

*sigh* I wish... haven't been to a beach in a few years, and even that's usually only w/ family, not w/ friends... it'd be torture to let my imagination run wild on this one, cz it's not like I could use my hands to fix it, lol!;)

Beach Volleyball was fun. who's up for a bonfire?

You are the best! Thank you for being such an interesting writer/woman!

YAY HOPE! Even though I'm in Alabama and we haven't had much of a winter, it's too cold for this southern chick at 37 degrees. It's supposed to be 53 tomorrow, but I LONG for a beach party at about 85 degrees with a sweet cool breeze coming from the water. Sand between my toes and an ice cold root beer float in a frosty mug in my hand. (teetotaler here!) Lots of sunscreen because I'm a hopeless burn/peel/freckle chick. Thanks Hope, I'm all wishing for summer!

You guys have it good down there. I'm in Saskatchewan Canada, we've been getting temperatures as low as -30 degrees Celcius. It's a cold walk to school. Thanks for the pick me up Hope!

I was always the nerd, that missed the party.... the one day I skip reading the fan posts, and ... Please tell Sarah and Adam, I'm sorry I missed it!!! Unless with the time diff between here and Tampa, there were a few stragglers that stayed to see the sun come up over the water!!!!!! HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYBODY! Kristin
