The Songs of What My Heart Desires

As many of you know when the original blog ran different songs were mentioned in it frequently.  I have added a playlist to this page with many of those songs.  When I did the blog I made a CD with those songs and others and titled it 'Love Songs for Sarah and Adam'.  No ego there huh?

Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy hearing some of the songs that inspired me during the writing process!  And heads up, the first part of the Wedding is in the works!  Lots of things happening in their lives!  Will Sarah be able to go through with it, do you think?  She's pretty scared, let me tell you!!!

how do I get the songs to come up?

I think you should just be able to click on the song title and it should play Lynette. If that doesn't work let me know because something is wrong.

Hey Hope!

I've listened to the play list and I love it. You always talked so much about music in the story and it was nice to hear the songs. I have a question though, one of the songs I don't remember and I can't find it anywhere in the story. The Coast is Clear - where was that?

Good Morning Tigger!

Okay, you are right that I never mentioned that song in the story, but it was a huge part of my writing process. I played that a lot when I was writing Adam, because it was a part of his thought processes - where he was in his life and how he was at. The lyrics -

Oh, I've never been more ready than I am right now,
I know sooner or later, someday, somehow,
Somebody's gonna walk up,
An' join somebody sittin' right here.
So wherever, whoever you are,
The coast is clear.

I close my eyes and the sound of the waves,
Carries me forward to better days,
An' they open my eyes to the woman of my dreams strolling in.
With a small touch of shyness an' a smooth kind of style,
She kisses me on the cheek and she says with a smile:
"I've been waiting all my life for you, baby. Where have you been

I always felt like the described Adam to a 'T'. Hope you enjoyed the song.

I can't find a play list...maybe it's a blonde thing. LOL

Lynette, it's on the left side under the archives. White box that says 'ilike' on it. Kind of an eyesore really, but I'm not techie enoughto figure out how to make it blend in better. Heck, I barely even got it up there!

I see a blank box. Maybe it's just my computer. I will try it on another one. Thanks. Have a great weekend!!
